ABOUT

A Great Notion hosts debates and talks for people who want a smarter world but feel powerless to influence it.

We started this because we believe there is a crowd that will enjoy a night of good intellectual content, especially with the recent boom in how many people have started thinking "deeply" about stuff.

Secondly, there are numerous academics in the beautiful city of Toronto who would have incredible things to teach us if only we gave them the right platform and motivation.

Therefore, we offer you a live academic dialogue, with other enthusiasts who showed up on purpose (think: a live battle of the minds, in a fun open comfy space).
